It was last weekend, March 24th and 25th, 2019, that the Footvolley Challenge event took place in Cascais and, as expected, Sports Partner was present.
The event was marked by the beauty of sport on the Cascais beach and also with the creation of a partnership between Sports Partner and the National Footvolley Federation, which deserves our greatest respect and commitment.
Taking into account that Footvolley is a relatively recent modality in the world of Portuguese sport, as it took its first steps in the 80s, this is a sport that “is here to stay and become addictive”, as the National Footvolley Federation says.
Footvolley
Considered a “recent modality where technique, strength, agility, precision, endurance and team play are fundamental attributes in this enormously spectacular sport”, as stated by the National Footvolley Federation, the event held at the end of week, March 24th and 25th, 2019, was an example of this.
Footvolley manages to capture the attention of fans due to all the dynamics, beauty and context in which the sport takes place, as it is practiced in an attractive environment such as the beach.
The event
Taking into account that Footvolley emerged on the beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the event would not be the same without representation from the country. As such, the players Rodrigo Beze (Alemão) and Victor Real were present and were also the big winners of this world event held last weekend in Cascais, Portugal.
Although the renowned Brazilian duo is well known for their achievements, our country’s players, Luiz Nogueira and Mauricio Jotha, were not far behind and faced the Brazilian representatives in 2 sets to 1 with partial scores of 17×21, 21×18 and 18×21.
However, the last places on the podium (3rd) were given to Filipe Santos and Beto Correia (Portugal) who beat the Dutch duo, represented by Antonio Aurino and Marcel Birza, in a final game of a single set with the score closing at 18×11 .
With emotions running high and the excitement of the huge audience that filled the stadium in the middle of Cascais Bay, the event was a true spectacle that even had livestreaming broadcast to the whole world.
Partnership Objectives
Our motto is called “Together We Score More Points” and, therefore, the main objective of the partnership with the National Footvolley Federation is to promote the sport, thus increasing its sporting practice and also making our products known to members. of the Promoter and Partner Entity.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight the importance of creating campaigns about the advantages of playing footvolley in football clubs, encouraging them.
