Sports Partner is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Triathlon Federation of Portugal.
On May 17, the protocol linking the Sports Partner partnership with the Triathlon Federation of Portugal was signed. This partnership aims to promote the sport of triathlon and its respective disciplines – duathlon and aquathlon.
The manager of Sports Partner, Rui Vicente, and the chairman of the board, Vasco Rodrigues, signed the contract defining the terms and conditions of a partnership defined by the “Together We Score More Points” project. As mentioned above, the signing of this contract aims to promote and grow the sport, as well as its practice.
About the Triathlon Federation of Portugal
Founded on October 16, 1989, the Triathlon Federation of Portugal, or FTP, is a member of the European Triathlon Union (ETU) – the European Triathlon Federation, as well as the International Triathlon Union (ITU) – the World Triathlon Federation.
According to the Portuguese Triathlon Federation itself, its main mission is “to promote, regulate, direct and expand the sport of triathlon and related disciplines – duathlon and aquathlon – throughout the national territory, while ensuring that Portuguese athletes are properly represented on international stages.”
The FTP, based in Caxias, already has more than 3,000 affiliated athletes and 115 associated clubs, and it is a sport that is growing rapidly throughout mainland Portugal.
